Horizon Hills

Drove up to Johor Bahru, Malaysia yesterday with Martin and Sean. Martin’s parents bought a house at Horizon Hills and we went to take a look!

Neighbourhood was really quiet, and predicted to stay this way even when people have moved in. It was a pretty neighbourhood too. Like Wisteria Lane, without housewives.

Martin with his new 2nd home!

We sat in this room and discussed musical instruments. We learnt that a recorder isn’t a very affordable instrument. Apparently there’s one that costs a million yen.

Martin showed us around the clubhouse. The pool is really big, it was quiet and relaxing, and was a tempting treat under the hot sun. A pity we didn’t bring any swimming wear.

It was much blue-r in real life.

I was really tempted, but not that desperate.

We went to a mall after, bought cheap tees, ate Nando’s and had dinner at a kelong. It was a fun one-day trip. Perfect for Nique who just finished her exams/ started work today. I always enjoy travelling with Nique. Sean & Martin are really fun and intellectual people to hang out with as well.

Same people, KL, next weekend! It’s gonna be awesome!
